My name is Aidan Steinbach and I am a 20 something year-old kid. I just moved to a new city, to start a new job, with new people… And I have no idea what I’m doing. There’s a huge pressure to know exactly what you’re doing and the exact trajectory that your life is on… But it’s completely unrealistic. And with social media, it can be so easy to feel behind people, because everyone else’s life looks so perfect. So I wanted to offer a genuinely transparent look into what a 20 something-year-old’s life in a new city looks like.

Recently, a fair amount of life has changed. I started a new job. I started looking at new cities to move to. I ran a Spartan Race. I’m planning on running a half marathon next weekend simply out of spite. It seems like half of you are running half marathons as your new “I’m 20” personality trait. So without training, I’m going to run and complete a half marathon. Once I do that, I am going to run a full marathon, but I’m actually going to train for that one. This was a great episode. Seb and I are a lot alike and a lot different. He’s a 6’4 black man, I’m a 5’4 white man. He’s younger, I’m older. He from one state, I’m from another. needless to say, I really appreciate our friendship and I’m grateful that the discussions we have on our differences bring us closer together rather than further apart. This is a great episode, talking about the differences in education, life experiences, and even some sports gambling.
