It’s elections time! We discuss the upcoming 2025 elections for the Association’s Executive Council: in particular, the election process outlined in the By-laws and the importance of member participation. We focus on the voluntary nature of the Executive Council, the organization of annual conferences and other initiatives, and the collaborative efforts with caucuses and subcommittees. The election process includes nominations, candidate statements, and voting timelines. Tune in to learn more about this process!

In this Cube we talk with representatives of the QSC--Silvia Antosa, Michela Baldo, Alessio Ponzio, and Giulia Sbaffi--and their upcoming Nov 17 Study Day on LIGBTQ+ rights in Italy. This online Giornata di Studio aims to bring together in discussion early career scholars, activists, and also more established scholars on questions about Trans identity in Italy and in extra Italian contexts. The hope is to establish a dialogue between lived experience and analysis, both inside and out of the academy. Join us!
