We got so bored during the ongoing pandemic that we started begging our friends on social media to tell us gossip that hurts no one, or dating stories, or to send us a dating profile that made them laugh (or cry). And then we decided you might want to hear some of it too. Gossip, tales of modern dating, and plenty of tangents from your pals, Ashley and Lauren.
Today the Babes cast pod with the boys of the Burst & Bloom Podcast--Dylan Metrano & Guy Capecelatro III--and it's a wild time! We miss you, we love you, and we hope you enjoy this weird & wooly crossover spectacular!! The Boys & the Babes listened to Burst & Bloom's 50th record label release, which is a cover album of songs written by bands on the label, covered by bands on the label (or bands associated with the label). There's music in this episode! And it's great! But there is ALSO gossip...even from the BOYS, including neighbor gossip (we know you love it), and all four of them watched the final Summer Flick: Psycho Beach Party! Enjoy! And if you have a podcast and want to do a crossover, call or text the Lips Phone at 207-544-9108 asap, email us at [email protected], follow us on Instagram & TikTok @babepatrolpod, and on Patreon at patreon.com/babepatrolpod.

Production by Steph George of Stephania Audio: www.stephaniageorge.com.

Here is the bandcamp link so you can listen to and purchase the album!: https://burstandbloom.bandcamp.com/album/burst-bloom-50

And here's how you can listen to more Burst & Bloom Podcast eps!: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/burst-bloom-podcast/id1722719344

Where haaaas the season gone? The light has shifted, August slipped away like a moment in time, September's gold is here, and two of the Babes have returned to school. The Babes end the season in absolute style with Steph at Fun-o-Rama, playing games and winning prizes. They all visited The Goldenrod in York, Maine and got banana splits! Ash gossips about the passing of the subject of an important Australian meme. Lauren brings the banana split historical gossip, which is a delightful trip back to the turn of the 20th century. And Steph unlocks yet ANOTHER Friendly's sundae--the Monster. Other notable discussions include: All You Can Top Ice Cream Buffet and our first kiss stories (like OMG gossip!) (Steph's involves the cops) (Lauren's involves a boy named Dorf) (Ash's involves kissing until her mouth went numb). The Final Summer Flick of the season is 2001's High Fidelity, and as such, all three Babes do a Top Five Summer Songs list, and talk about past audiophile boyfriends. We've loved spending this summer with you, busybodies, and we miss you already......but keep your eyes peeled because we MIGHT reappear on your feeds soooooon! We love you! Let us know your top five summer songs by calling or texting the Lips Phone at 207-544-9108, email us at [email protected], follow us on Instagram & TikTok @babepatrolpod, and on Patreon at patreon.com/babepatrolpod.
Hello! Sorry for being a little late to the party this week, busybodies, but please enjoy this Substitute Teacher Variety Hour!! Lauren was sick and could not record, so Ash was lucky enough to have some last-minute help for this episode. Lindsey joined to talk about some dating horrors, and the lessons that she has learned from the hijinks and struggles of dating on the apps! You've been asking for some bad dating stories, and Linds delivers! This week's Summer Flick is 2001's Wet Hot American Summer, and Guy Capecelatro III swung by to chat about summer camp, masturbati0n, Janeane Garofalo, and Loverboy. And NEXT WEEK, watch 2000's High Fidelity! And to wrap it all up, Taiese & Carson, two former clinic coworkers of Ash's, were the Ice Cream Dates this week, and in absolutely stunning news Taiese worked for YEARS as an ice cream scooper, and we get all the inside industry dirt! Don't worry, although it was fun assembling a scrappy team for this episode, our beloved Lauren will be returning next week!! Please let us know if you had your first kiss at summer camp by calling or texting the Lips Phone at 207-544-9108, email us at [email protected], follow us on Instagram & TikTok @babepatrolpod, and on Patreon at patreon.com/babepatrolpod.
