This is a prequel minisode, a memory about 25 years before the first episode of the series. When Mack Hardcase and his brother Jim were small children living on a Galactic Confederation colony world, their planet was conquered by the evil Klurgh. They watched their parents being executed, and then they were taken away as child slaves to work on a mining planet. Now they've grown up and they're too big to make ideal miners, so their Klurgh master is taking them to another planet. Mack sees an opportunity. Enjoy up to 11 more of these minisodes for $1 by joining our Kickstarter at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gavagai/beyond-awakening
