Hi 大家，我是今天的主持人 Dr. Harvey！ 今天想跟大家聊聊一個我從 2012 年就開始關注的領域。那時候我在台北榮總的幹細胞實驗室做研究，正逢山中伸彌教授因為 iPS 幹細胞技術獲得諾貝爾獎，全世界都非常興奮，大家覺得再過三五年，這項技術就能徹底改變醫療，甚至可以普及到我們的日常生活。日本政府也投資了大量資金，希望推動這項技術到臨床應用。 但是，時間過去了 12 年。 到了 2024 年，事實上呢，我們的技術還沒達到當時所期待的那個階段。 儘管再生醫學領域已經有一些初步的成果，但距離真正能把幹細胞應用到病人體內，讓它安全且有效地修復受損組織，還是有不小的距離。 所以，這次我特別邀請到了京都大學的 Colton 博士，他是 iPS 幹細胞研究的專家，一起來聊聊再生醫學的現狀與未來，探討這些技術除了美容之外，究竟還能帶給我們什麼突破，以及這些技術距離真正改變人類健康生活，究竟還有多遠？ 這集的精彩重點包括： 1. iPS 幹細胞與外泌體的潛力：它們如何在醫療上帶來革命性應用，可能成為治療各種難治疾病的突破口。 2. 再生醫學的未來前景：Colton 博士從科研視角解釋了這些技術的進展，帶我們一窺未來醫學的模樣。 3. 個人健康的可能新選擇：再生醫學的發展不僅限於疾病治療，還包括提升生活質量的應用，無論你是關注健康還是美容，這集都值得一看！ 不管你是對生物科技有興趣的學生，還是想了解未來醫療的普通觀眾，這次訪談都會給你許多啟發。 歡迎留言、分享給感興趣的朋友，和我一起探索醫學與商學之間的無限可能！ ▌關於 Colton 醫學博士候選人 | 京都大學 iPS 細胞研究所 Colton 是京都大學 iPS 細胞研究所 (CiRA) 的醫學博士候選人，致力於再生醫學領域的最前沿研究，特別是外泌體與 iPS 細胞的應用。他的研究聚焦於利用 iPS 細胞製造人類血小板，致力於降低血小板生產成本，並開發延長血小板保存時間的次世代儲存技術，以強化血小板的利用。 CiRA 由諾貝爾獎得主山中伸彌設立，主要目標是推動再生醫學從基礎研究到臨床應用的發展。在 CiRA 培訓期間，Colton 對於再生醫學臨床應用的挑戰有深刻的理解，認識到即使技術在前端取得進展，距離實際「可用」還有一大段距離。他觀察到，前端研究的做法和邏輯難以直接與商業或工業化流程接軌，這是實現應用的主要障礙。因此，他投身於轉化研究，目標是加速再生醫學成果的實際應用和市場化進程。 此外，Colton 是日本台灣生物技術協會 (JTBA) 的共同創辦人兼會長，並曾獲得日本台灣交流學會的長期獎學金。 -- Hosting provided by <a href="https://www.soundon.fm/">SoundOn</a>
