Welcome to Episode 5. Today we are going to talk about this in the sense of “What’s Next?” From the beginning, we talked about how this book is less about “parenting” per se and more about how to form habits, or norms, for our families that help us to follow Jesus more closely each day. Today we will continue processing some of the content from the book, Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley.

We became aware of the book mentioned above a few months ago and we think it will be helpful for your family. So, we would like to read it together. It’s really that simple. But instead of saying, “Here’s a great book. Go read it.”, and that being the end, we would like to cover a few of the book’s topics on this podcast. That way you can hear from others how they have been successful (or have failed) so that we can grow and connect with each other.

Our habits are important. Our habits of following Jesus more closely each day, give our kids a model to follow so that they, too, will follow Jesus more closely each day. Thank you so much for joining us on this journey. We hope that these sessions have been encouraging for you as you navigate the daily joys and challenges of raising children. We look forward to being with you again soon. Until next time…

Get your copy here: Habits Of The Household by Justin Whitmel Early

Check our church out here: Connection Valley Church

Instagram: CVC Instagram

YouTube: CVC YouTube

FaceBook: CVC FaceBook
