<p> This is the Story of Eric Schwartz. From Student to the Head MLS Athletic Trainer for the New England Revolution. Initially born from St. Louis, Eric grew up inspired by all types of sports. He fell in love with soccer and looked up to Landon Donvan at an early age. After getting his masters from the University of Arkansas, Eric went on a season internship with DC United. He spent a few years with the club, working his way from throughout the academy and later the first team. He built many relationships and even got to work with some elite professionals such as Wayne Rooney. After Covid-19 took storm, he moved to Sporting KC and became more educated in the field. He learned the science to dry needling and took part in their high performance summit during 2022. In his final season with Sporting, they made an unbelievable push into the playoffs and found success against his hometown team, St. Louis SC. Today Eric remains passionate, optimistic, and driven to serve the next generation of footballers. Now, he is the director of sports medicine for the New England Revolution.
