<p>يناقش الدكتور التحديات البيئية التي تواجهها دول الخليج العربي في قطاعات النفط و الغاز، و التي تصنف على أنها من المصادر الرئيسية لزيادة انبعاثات ثاني اوكسيد الكربون المسبب للتغير المناخي و الاحتباس الحراري. بالإضافة الاتفاقيات الدولية التي تنظم كميّة الانبعاثات و التي نتج عنها ما يسمى الرصيد الكربوني.</p> <p>الدكتور محمد بن جاسم المسلماني لديه باع طويل مجالات الأمن و السلامة البيئية في مصانع النفط حيث عمل لأكثر من ٢٠ سنة في قطر للطاقة قاد فيها عدة مشاريع تعنى بالبيئة و كان عضو مؤسس للمجلس القطري الأعلى للبيئة و المحميات الطبيعية. و تقلد مناصب أخرى منها رئاسة مجموعة العمل الخليجية للتغير المناخي و عضو الصندوق الأممي للأرصدة الكربونية و التكيف المناخي، و عضو المجلس البلدي القطري، و مدير الشؤون الفنية في برنامج الطاقة و المياة و الأمن الغذائي القطري. </p> <p> حصل الدكتور محمد المسلماني على بكالريوس هندسة المعادن من جامعة ميتشيغان الغربية في امريكا، و ماجستير هندسة المواد من كلية لندن الملكية، و دكتوراه في الإدارة البيئية من جامعة برونيل البريطانية. صدر له كتاب "الرؤية الثاقبة: قصة الغاز في قطر" وثق فيه مسيرة التطور المذهل في قطاع الغاز المسال في قطر</p><p><a href="https://soundcloud.com/tanwenmedia" rel="payment">Support the show: https://soundcloud.com/tanwenmedia</a></p><p>See <a href="https://omnystudio.com/listener">omnystudio.com/listener</a> for privacy information.</p>
