<p>https://spica-gakkai.com/words/angio/</p><p>「血管」を意味する接頭辞 angio について、「これはアンギオと読みますか、それとも、アンジオですか？」という質問をレッスン受講生様からいただきました。答えは アンジオ なのですが、gi と書くので、「ジ」と読むか「ギ」と読むのか、ややこしいですよね。また、コラーゲンは英語ではカラジェンと発音しますが、ge と書いて「ジェ」と読むか「ゲ」と読むか、どちらの方が多いのでしょうか。今回は gi、geと書いて日本人が読み間違いをしやすい英単語についてお話ししていきます。</p>

<p>今回は、ERを通して、「呼吸器」に関する英単語の発音をいくつかご紹介していきたいと思います。バイタルとしての「呼吸」respiration、「呼吸不全」respiratory failure、「人工呼吸器」respirator または ventilator、そして、介護や育児からの「小休憩」、respite などのネイティブの発音を学習しましょう。</p>
