<p>In una notte di tempesta un neonato, Eugenio, viene abbandonato dai propri genitori sugli scalini del carrozzone più bello di un circo. La coppia è disperata: non ha di che vivere e spera che la gente del tendone sia davvero generosa come si dice. Eugenio viene adottato dagli illusionisti e crescendo diventa un bravissimo clown. Ma un giorno comincia a perdere l'allegria e la voglia di trasmetterla. Finché Madame Cobra, la veggente, svela la verità: "Eugenio, il pubblico ti vuole bene, ti adora, ma tu non hai nessuno a cui voler bene..." E gli predice una sorpresa. Eugenio torna nella sua roulotte e sui gradini trova un bambino... La storia si ripete. </p>
