<p>Microsoft is updating the Windows Hello authentication experience in Windows 11. This update, currently in beta testing, features a new user interface with improved passkey functionality, including a simplified passkey creation process and a more intuitive sign-in process. The update also includes a new API for third-party password managers, allowing users to use passkeys stored on their mobile devices to authenticate with apps and websites on their PC. This enhanced Windows Hello experience is expected to roll out to all Windows 11 users in the coming months.</p>
