四王寺山の古代山城跡、坂本口跡に立つと、はるか遠くまで見渡せます。 四王寺山には景色がすばらしい、ビューポイントがいくつかあります。 その中の1つがここにあります。 遠くに背振山、九千部山、基山が望まれ、目を手前の方にやりますと、道真公が住まいとした榎社や朱雀大路もよく見えます。 ここから、さらに猫坂遺跡郡を見て終着点県民の森センターまで歩きました。 Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

四王寺山の一番高い所、大城山の山頂近くには毘沙門堂があります。 ここに宇美町の民俗文化財に指定された行事が残っています。 それは「毘沙門詣り」というもので、正月３日参拝の方がお堂の前に置かれたお賽銭を借りて帰り、その翌年、前の年に借りたお賽銭の倍額を返し、また新しいお賽銭を借りて返すという行事です。 このお詣りを繰り返すと一年間お金に不自由しないんだそうです。 Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

古代の山城、大野城跡の宇美町側にあるのが、この遺跡最大の石垣だといわれる百間石垣です。 名前の通り全長１８０メートルある石垣です。 石垣としては内部にも石を積めた総石垣構造だとか。 また、石垣の下を流れる川からは門の礎石が見つかり、林道近くに城門があったのではないか、とも見られているそうです。 Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
