Die Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel (HAB) ist beides: Bibliothek und eines der weltweit führenden Forschungszentren für die Kulturgeschichte des Mittelalters und der Frühen Neuzeit. „HAB gehört“ gibt Einblicke in die einzigartige Sammlung, die wissenschaftlichen Aktivitäten sowie in das Kulturprogramm der HAB. In der Rubrik „Mythen und Gerüchte“ räumen die HAB gehört-Expert*innen mit Irrglauben und Gerüchten aus ihrem Fachgebiet auf: Verlebte Lessing in Wolfenbüttel wirklich die glücklichsten Jahre seines Lebens? Schafft sich die Bibliothek durch die Digitalisierung wirklich selbst ab? Und darf man alte Handschriften wirklich nur mit weißen Handschuhen anfassen? „HAB gehört“ ist eine Produktion der Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel, gefördert durch die Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien (BKM), NEUSTART KULTUR, die Kulturstiftung der Länder und das Förderprojekt KULTUR.GEMEINSCHAFTEN. In dieser Episode von _HAB gehört_ feiern wir das zehnjährige Jubiläum der Zeitschrift für digitale Geisteswissenschaften (ZfdG)! Seit der Veröffentlichung des ersten Sonderbands am 19. Februar 2015 hat sich die ZfdG zu einer zentralen Plattform für Forschung im Bereich der Digital Humanities entwickelt. Als digitale Fachzeitschrift bewegt sich die ZfdG an der Schnittstelle zwischen geisteswissenschaftlicher Forschung und digitalen Methoden.
