פרק פודקאסט על הורים וילדים, זיקנה ומעגלי חיים, מוסר ורוחניות. הבוקר האזנתי להרצאה על קולנוע. על הבמאי המיתולוגי אנדריי טרקובסקי. המרצה התמקד באחד מהסרטים של טרקובסקי שעוסק במלחמה והדהים אותי בפרשנות שנתן: מלחמה היא כמו החום של אדם חולה. החום גם מראה לנו שיש מחלה, וגם עוזר לגוף להתמודד איתה. מלחמה היא סימפטום שמזקק את השפל המוסרי והרוחני, את החולי של החברה. בפודקאסט ניסינו לבדוק, האם התייחסות לזיקנה בחברה שלנו תורמת לשפל הזה, אם כן, אז איך בדיוק? ומה ניתן לעשות כדי לשפר את המצב.

את הפרק הזה הקלטתי לראשונה בצורת דיאלוג. דיאלוג עם אישה מרתקת, עובדת הסוציאלית קרן גפני. ביום שנפגשנו כדי להקליט את הפרק, לא היה לנו לא טיוטה ואפילו לא נושא מדוייק. שתינו היינו בטוחות כי כל נקודה בה נגע, תתפתח לשיחה מעניינת, והחלטנו על הנושא דקה לפני שהתיישבנו מול המיקרופונים. נושא ההורים והקשר איתם מרתק את שתינו, והנה אנחנו כאן כדי לדבר על זה. אצטט משפט מדהים של קרן מתוך הפרק: ״כשהנר דולק - יש מה לתקן. והנר בסוף יכבה.״ האזנה נעימה.
