by Melissa Morrisey
This is a podcast about music and each week Melissa brings a new artist...or it should be said, a new artist to Bryan. The funny thing is, this music shouldn’t be new as it’s been playing in their house for over twenty years. Join us for a nostalgic trip through alt music of the 70s, 80s, 90s and more and to see if she can make it stick for real this time. Each episode comes with a bonus music mix of the featured artist so you can listen along.

<div>This week Melissa brings us a real bummer of a band...Idaho, specifically their 1996 classic album "Three Sheets to The Wind". Melissa loves the pure slow and mellow tones of Idaho's songs. There are lots of hearts on this one and Bryan brings back the stone-cold-classic label for the song "Shame"! This is a great album that we love and we think you will too. Listen to the whole album below and check out the Idaho website to buy this album and all Idaho's albums.</div> <p><a title="Three Sheets To The Wind on YouTube Music" href= "https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_n2bKtCNFDeUuomcgsUgXZVsLSKfYbPp5c&si=UFyIgiDK8DS5T2LK" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Three Sheets To The Wind on YouTube Music</a></p> <div>Idaho's Website for all their records: <a title= "Idaho band official website" href="https://www.idahoband.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://www.idahoband.com/</a></div>

<p>This week Melissa brings the dream pop, slow core, and avant guardness, of Hugo Largo to Bryan who…as the podcast has revealed over the 5 years they’ve been doing it, has no idea who they are. BUT as usual Bryan is intrigued and so will you be by this dreamy mix of vocals, bass, stings and other instruments that together form the beautiful and unique sound that is Hugo Largo. Please use the link in our show notes to listen to and buy their music.</p> <p>Hugo Largo mix - <a title= "I Already Told You That Podcast - Hugo Largo mix " href= "https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8qbszZoroaVSU9Zy5uARBFN09L3q691o&si=PFMsHT38Ru-xmDAu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube Music</a></p> <p>Purchase <a title="Hugo Largo Bandcamp page" href= "https://missingpiecerecords.bandcamp.com/album/huge-large-and-electric-hugo-largo-1984-1991" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hugo Largo's New Box Set and other music here!</a></p> <p><a title="Hugo Largo webpage" href= "https://www.missingpiecegroup.com/hugo-largo" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">https://www.missingpiecegroup.com/hugo-largo</a></p> <p>Email Us! - <a title="I Already Told You That Podcast email" href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">[email protected]</a></p>

<p>Welcome back and happy 2025! Melissa put in the work this week with the band Wade. She unearthed some old, as she calls them, "comp tapes" and re-rememberd one of her favorite bands. She discovered Wade through a 45 with hand written notes that connected Wade to Red House painters and once she gave it a listen she was hooked! Anyway, Melissa reached out to a member of the band who gave her some insight of how the band formed and all about their self-titled album "Wade". Please enjoy and please check out the mix and other music from Wade bass player and singer, Eve Bekker as well as Joe Goldring's other project, "Enablers". </p> <p>Wade mix on <a title= "I Already Told You That Podcast "Wade" mix" href= "https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8qbszZoroaXTdEr-aoPvw0v9BfUYmr7e&si=TDLcRaPCbNLZZyY6" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YouTube Music</a> <a title= "Wade's second full album - unreleased " href= "https://wade2.bandcamp.com/album/unwelcome" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">Wade's second full album - unreleased </a> <a title="Wade on Discogs" href= "https://www.discogs.com/artist/1430593-Wade-8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wade on Discogs</a></p> <p><a title="Eve Bekker on Bandcamp" href= "https://evebekker.bandcamp.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Eve Bekker on Bandcamp</a> <a title="Eve Bekker on Sound Cloud" href= "https://on.soundcloud.com/tYuuUmGFkmQXaZjd9" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">| Sound Cloud</a> <a title="Eve Bekker on YouTube" href="http://www.youtube.com/@evebekker5296" target="_blank" rel= "noopener">| YouTube</a> </p> <p><a title= "Joe Goldring's band "Enablers" on Bandcamp " href= "https://enablers.bandcamp.com/album/some-gift" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Goldring's band "Enablers" on Bandcamp </a></p>
