Open-Mindedness Unlocks Growth Keeping an open mind is a gateway to perpetual growth. Like a sponge that absorbs knowledge, staying receptive to new ideas, perspectives, and experiences expands our understanding of the world. Embrace the diversity of thoughts and beliefs around us. In doing so, we not only learn but also foster empathy and build connections with others. It's through an open mind that we discover our potential and continuously evolve.

Curiosity Nurtures Wisdom Curiosity is the spark that ignites our quest for knowledge. As we cultivate a curious spirit, we unveil hidden treasures in everyday experiences. Children, with their unbridled curiosity, learn and explore fearlessly. Likewise, let us maintain that sense of wonder and inquire like a child, seeking understanding in the mysteries of life. Curiosity fuels innovation, propelling us toward new discoveries and deeper wisdom.

Childlike Faith Sustains Hope Childlike faith is not blind acceptance but a resilient trust that holds onto hope. Just as a child believes in possibilities, maintaining faith in the face of challenges sustains our resilience. This faith keeps our spirits buoyant, allowing us to weather storms with unwavering optimism. Embrace faith that believes in the unseen and holds onto the goodness of the future. Let it guide us through uncertainty, fostering hope and unwavering strength.

Conclusion: In embracing open-mindedness, nurturing curiosity, and sustaining childlike faith, we embrace a life rich in growth, wisdom, and resilience. May we approach each day with a mind open to learning, a heart curious for wisdom, and a faith that holds onto hope. Let us embody these virtues and journey forward, enriched by the wonders they unveil in our lives.

Freedom of the Sea - Phillips, Craig & Dean

I Am Awesome resources:

Please join us on our podcast Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/iamawesomepodcast?mibextid=b06tZ0

email us: [email protected]

This book is one of the most basic, yet effective, reads that i've yet to come across. The book is titled Rhinoceros Success written by Scott Alexander. Below you will find a quick overview on what this book entails in hopes of giving you some pointed to continue dominating what you're after in life. Enjoy!

Quotes

“A rhinoceros charges with singleness of purpose. All energy is directed toward the attainment of one burning desire.” → My desire is to have financial freedom in order to do what I want when I want and how I want.

“Success is there for anyone who will get off their butt and charge it down!”

“We become the product of three things: the people we associate with, the books we read, and the media we listen to.”

“Charge with rhinos, fly with eagles, run with cheetahs, and eat with lions. Don’t hang around with cows or sheep.”

“Money is not the root of all evil—love of money is.”

Don’t love money. Love what money can do for YOU and for ALL THE PEOPLE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO HELP once you have it. Don't forget to pay yourself first. It's okay to be selfish at the beginning as long as your end goal is to help spread the love to those in need.

10 Characteristics of Living Like a Rhinoceros

Rhinos Charge Early. Rhinos don’t sleep in late (wake up earlier—Slowly but surely) , or hit the snooze button. They jump out of bed when their “opportunity clock” sounds and charge into their day with excitement.

2. Rhinos Charge Massively After One Thing. Rhinos know the importance of charging, it is what they were made for. And how do they charge? Massively! They charge down the big goals and opportunities. They also make sure that they are only charging down one opportunity at a time. You can’t effectively charge in 2 directions. They pick one and charge at it with everything they have, then they move on to the next.

3. Rhinos Believe in Themselves. Rhinos believe that success is theirs for the taking. They expect success, and therefore they create success.

4. Rhinos Put Themselves Through Training. To achieve rhinoceros levels of success you have to be prepared for it. Mentally and physically. Rhinos read good books, surround themselves with good people, get enough sleep, eat good foods, and workout.

5. Rhinos Plan For Success. Rhinos have goals. And more importantly they create plans for achieving those goals. Once they have a plan in place they charge down everything on that plan.

6. Rhinos Are Audacious. What is there to be afraid of as a six thousand pound animal with a horn on the front of your head? Nothing! Rhinos are daring, adventurous, and bold. They believe in the saying “go for it!”

7. Rhinos Never Give Up. No matter how tough the journey is, Rhinos keep charging. They may slip and fall, but they will get back up and charge even harder. Nothing will stop them from charging down their opportunity.

8. Rhinos Like But Don’t Love Money. Money is great and rhinos will chase down as much of it as they can. However, rhinos don’t love money. They approach gathering money as a hobby, rather than a job. Rhinos are also very generous with their money. But every rhino knows that to be successful with money they must pay themselves first.

9. Rhinos Balance Work and Family. Many even try to combine the two by involving their family in their work. After all, a rhino doesn’t do work that is boring, rhinos do work that is more like a hobby. Rhinos understand that you need to love what you do to be successful. There is no better way to love the work that you do than by involving those that you love in your work!

10. Rhinos Embrace Problems. In fact rhinos love problems. Problems are a sign that you are making progress. If you don’t have any problems it means that you are not taking any action on your goals.

I Am Awesome resources:

Please join us on our podcast Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/iamawesomepodcast?mibextid=b06tZ0

email us: [email protected]
