<p>Jed Berry is In The Frame!</p><br><p>Most recently Jed played Boq in the UK & Ireland tour of Wicked and next up he is a swing in the UK premiere of Shucked at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.</p><br><p>Some of Jed’s other credits include: understudy Elder Cunningham and Elder McKinley in The Book of Mormon (UK & International Tour / West End), Ernest Boulton and Stella in Fanny & Stella (Garden Theatre) and Angel and cover Referee in Kinky Boots (West End).</p><br><p>In this episode Jed discusses the injury which led him to delaying the start of his run in Wicked, his path into theatre and what it has been like to tick off some of his dream shows. <p>Tori Allen-Martin is In The Frame!</p><br><p>Tori is currently playing Cass and others in the premiere of Midnight Cowboy at Southwark Playhouse Elephant.</p><br><p>Based on the novel by James Leo Herlihy which was adapted into the 1969 film, Midnight Cowboy has a book by Bryony Lavery and music by Francis “Eg” White who has written songs for Adele, Sam Smith, Florence + The Machine and James Morrison. The production is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston, with Tori starring alongside Paul Jacob French and Max Bowden as Joe Buck and Rico ‘Ratzo’ Rizzo.</p><br><p>Last year Tori starred as Kristin in I Wish You Well at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in the West End. Some of her other theatre credits include: Samuel Takes A Break (The Yard Theatre), Then, Now and Next (Southwark Playhouse), Park Bench (Park Theatre), One Man, Two Guvnors (New Wolsey, Ipswich/Nuffield Southampton), The Season (Glass Half Full Productions and Tim Johanson), The Hardest One (The Other Palace/Criterion) and Hair (Concert).</p><br><p>On screen, Tori is best known for her performances in Here We Go (BBC), London Kills (BBC) and Pure (Channel 4). Her further screen credits include: Mrs Sidhu Investigates (Acorn), Significant Other (Hatrick), Plebs: The War (the finale) (Rise films), The Other Half (Ranga Bee Productions), Flatshare (42 for Paramount+), Back To Life (Two Brothers Pictures) and Pandemonium (BBC). </p><br><p>Tori is also an established writer. She has co-created and produced multiple new musicals, including Streets (Cockpit Theatre/Hackney Empire).</p><br><p>Tori recently came into the podcast booth to discuss why she said "yes" to new challenges with Midnight Cowboy, her whirlwind journey with I Wish You Well, how she established herself on stage and screen... and her recent appearance on Celebrity Mastermind!</p><br><p>Midnight Cowboy runs at Southwark Playhouse Elephant until 17th May. <p>Kerry Ellis is In The Frame!</p><br><p>Kerry is preparing to perform her latest solo show Queen Of The West End at the Vaudeville Theatre on 21st April as part of Westway Music’s season of concerts. Later in the year Kerry is taking the show on another extensive tour of the UK. </p><br><p>In August Kerry is uniting with two other iconic Elphabas – Rachel Tucker and Louise Dearman – for a one-night-only West End concert Gravity at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.</p><br><p>Kerry originated the role of Meat in We Will Rock You and is celebrated for being the first British Elphaba in the West End and Broadway productions of Wicked.</p><br><p>A few of Kerry's other theatre roles have included Grizabella in Cats (London Palladium), Nancy in Oliver (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Ellen in Miss Saigon (UK Tour), Fantine in Les Miserables (Queen's Theatre), understudy Eliza in My Fair Lady (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Sara in Murder Ballad (Arts Theatre), Alice in Wonderland (UK Tour) and Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest (UK Tour). </p><br><p>More recently Kerry played Reno Sweeney in the London revival of Anything Goes (Barbican Centre), Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Stafford Gatehouse) and Cruella in 101 Dalmatians (Theatre Royal Brighton). Earler this year she starred as Elizabeth in the UK premiere of If/Then In Concert at the Savoy Theatre.</p><br><p>Alongside her theatre work, Kerry has a major concert and recording career; she has released albums and toured the world, regularly collaborating with Brian May from Queen.</p><br><p>In this episode Kerry discusses why she loves her Queen Of The West End show, why performing If/Then was such an overwhelming experience and how she's feeling about working with Tucker and Dearman on the Gravity concert... and she also gives us the gossip about being in Wicked: For Good plus more!</p><br><p>Kerry performs Queen Of The West End at the Vaudeville Theatre on Monday 21st April.
