by Welcome to the forest!
Your host Frank Weber discusses relatively obscure topics that are truly worth talking about, even if nobody else will. Through humor and educating on what these are topics are really all about, he intends to use nuance, history, and critical thinking to broaden and deepen the understanding of each issue. While a solo podcast for now, Frank intends to add conversations with others later to this weekly, bite-sized podcast with new episodes every Wednesday morning.

frankwebertx.substack.com

This week celebrates the 1st Anniversary of the show! Frank discusses a myriad of topics such as the recently concluded Masters golf tournament, the upcoming spectacle of Wrestlemania, and that this is Passion Week once again with Easter nearly here. For that, Frank talks about what he is thankful for, then spends some time talking about another story from a Gospel that is tangentially related to this show's purpose. It's an "all-time" issue you might say. Happy Easter!

www.frankwebertx.substack.com

www.frankwebertx.com

@frankwebertx

Get full access to Life's Comedic Odyssey at frankwebertx.substack.com/subscribe

Today Frank analyzes the Trump Tariff policies and the resulting, fairly alarming, market decline. While he tells what he knows but doesn't have any great solutions, the problem in the end seems to be an overly emotional society compared with previous eras. This leads to a less functional and overall satisfying society. He tries to give some directive however and different perspectives once again on how we can be better. At the end of the show he brings up some lighter-hearted topics and maybe some things to look forward to in future shows.

www.frankwebertx.substack.com

www.frankwebertx.com

@frankwebertx

Get full access to Life's Comedic Odyssey at frankwebertx.substack.com/subscribe

On this episode, Frank comments on the general level of help (or lack thereof) currently in society, and discusses his experience thus far in writing and publishing (or trying to publish) a book. The show includes a short description of his manuscript Stranded Fantasy and some comments on the pitfalls of the publishing process, namely the use of literary agents. This is followed by a deeper talk about the uphill paths for creatives before some final exhortations are given to help change society for the better.

Be sure to let your thoughts be known through one of the methods below:

www. frankwebertx.substack.com

www.frankwebertx.com

@frankwebertx

Get full access to Life's Comedic Odyssey at frankwebertx.substack.com/subscribe
