Laura Harding and Annie Wilmot are Harding Wilmot Sailing. They are one of the worlds fastest sailing teams currently campaigning the 49erFX sailboat which sees both of the on trapeze controlling one of the fastest sailing dinghies on the planet.<br /><br />In 2024 they had a break out year with a Top 6 in the World Championships winning a number of Australian events and then being part of the first America's Cup competition for women representing Australia.<br /><br />Sailing an America's Cup yacht which is a unique yacht that sails on foils lifting its hull clear of the water and races across the top of the water at the speed of a car but with the stability of a unicycle. <br /><br />Their ability to be agile, pivot and adapt to changing conditions, new boats , new team members at the elite level is something everyone can learn something about.<br /><br />Laura and Annie are now campaigning toward the LA Olympics and we talk about the planning for this event which is 3 plus years away and what it takes to win at the top.<br />I hope you enjoy this fun podcast with two of Australia's elite sailors as much as I did.<br /><br />You can find out more here<br />Instagram @hardingwilmotsailing<br />LinkedIn @hardingwilmotsailing
