Poslanstvo oddaje je obveščanje naših poslušalcev o tem, kaj dela papež, Sveti sedež, kaj se dogaja v Vesoljni Cerkvi in krščanski skupnosti nasploh. V njej predstavljamo tudi druge aktualne dogodke s kulturnega, političnega in gospodarskega življenja, ki zadevajo kristjane oziroma človeštvo v celoti. Dinamika vere je namreč zelo pomembna za današnje razumevanje sveta.

<p>Tokrat ste lahko slišali, da nas je papež pri avdienci povabil, naj psalmi postanejo naša molitev. Osrednja nit oddaje pa je bila mir. V teh negotovih časih se namreč po svetu vrstijo pobude in molitve za mir. V tem duhu bo potekal tudi medverski forum za mir in dialog, ki bo znova v Kopru prihodnje leto. Škofje so ga predstavili na tiskovni konferenci ta teden. Slišali pa ste tudi pogovor o medverskem srečanju v Rimu, na katerem so udeleženci z vsega sveta govorili o poti dialoga za naprej.</p>
