<p>Emma Louise Thompson has been focusing on updates for the KAIROS 2 PRO Jiu Jitsu Grand Prix and very much preparing herself for competing. Emma's approach is to take each match as it comes, of which there are many. She started out with competitive Judo at age fourteen and has continued her growth in martial arts, testing herself through the ranks to now, as a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.</p><p> </p><p>Emma favours the Gi from her Judo background, and she is very excited for the coin flip decision on KAIROS 2 were she may end up with No Gi matches. She has been training martial arts for 21 years, and has developed a mindset of hard work and resilience. Balancing her busy work and training schedule, as well as parenting is more easily managed with routine and focus.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Topics:</strong></p><ul><li>Competing</li><li>Training</li><li>Masters</li><li>Under 55kg events</li><li>Judo</li><li>Routine</li><li>Family life</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Emma on Instagram: </strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/emma.louise.t/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/emma.louise.t/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Watch on YouTube: </strong><a href="https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_eemG0gZNYW_8T9v_yg08JvyPcE5d3Ft&si=zi05XrkXM1575kub" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_eemG0gZNYW_8T9v_yg08JvyPcE5d3Ft&si=zi05XrkXM1575kub</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Instagram: </strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/kairos_pro_jiujitsu/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/kairos_pro_jiujitsu/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Sponsors:</strong></p><p>866 Jiu jitsu & Wellness camp: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/866bjj/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/866bjj/</a></p><p>Frontier Risks Group: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/frontier_risks_group/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/frontier_risks_group/</a></p><p>Two Chefs: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/two_chefs_cambs/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/two_chefs_cambs/</a></p><p>JITS MAGAZINE: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jits_magazine/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/jits_magazine/</a></p><p>JIU JITSU LOU Podcast: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>HOST & PRODUCTION CREDIT: </strong>Lou Temlett <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@jiu.jitsu.lou</a></p><p> </p><p>This work is licensed under a <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a>.</p><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast. <p>Daniel De Groot is ready for his Superfight with Tommy Yip at the upcoming KAIROS 2 event at EscapologyBJJ on 27th April 2025. Daniel has been training under the same coach since 2015, and uses signature moves such as Half Guard and Guillotine and Foot Locks.</p><p> </p><p>Creating an exciting match is one of the many priorities for Daniel. Facing a familiar opponent in Tommy will bring some challenges, and he will have to find some secret alternate moves, over and above Foot Locks from his purple belts days.</p><p> </p><p>Bringing Jiu Jitsu to everyone, as well as building a strong competition team is what Daniel focuses on when not in training camp. Creating a good game plan, as an everyday competitor is his great advice, and to regularly test the plan at competition. In addition to growing the academy, Daniel works with dedicated pro athletes at Haven BJJ on a daily basis.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Topics:</strong></p><ul><li>Dedication</li><li>Consistency</li><li>Hard work</li><li>Loyalty</li><li>Game plan</li><li>Coaching</li><li>Feedback</li><li>Self-improvement</li><li>Focus</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Daniel on Instagram: </strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/degrootbjj/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/degrootbjj/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Watch on YouTube: </strong><a href="https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_eemG0gZNYW_8T9v_yg08JvyPcE5d3Ft&si=zi05XrkXM1575kub" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_eemG0gZNYW_8T9v_yg08JvyPcE5d3Ft&si=zi05XrkXM1575kub</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Instagram: </strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/kairos_pro_jiujitsu/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/kairos_pro_jiujitsu/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>Sponsors:</strong></p><p>866 Jiu jitsu & Wellness camp: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/866bjj/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/866bjj/</a></p><p>Frontier Risks Group: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/frontier_risks_group/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/frontier_risks_group/</a></p><p>Two Chefs: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/two_chefs_cambs/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/two_chefs_cambs/</a></p><p>JITS MAGAZINE: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jits_magazine/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/jits_magazine/</a></p><p>JIU JITSU LOU Podcast: <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou/</a></p><p> </p><p><strong>HOST & PRODUCTION CREDIT: </strong>Lou Temlett <a href="https://www.instagram.com/jiu.jitsu.lou" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@jiu.jitsu.lou</a></p><p> </p><p>This work is licensed under a <a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License</a>.</p><hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast.
