Selles Krimioosumi episoodis läheme ajas tagasi eelmise sajandi algusesse - aega, mil prostituudid veel Tallinna vanalinnas leiba teenisid. Sekstöötajate hulgas oli ka Dunkri Lonnyna tuntud lõbunaine, kes unistas vaid rahulikult elus linna servas ja vürtsipoe omamisest. Kahjuks lõppes ta elu enne selle idülli saavutamist. Laulva revolutsiooni aeg 80ndate lõpus ja 90ndate alguses oli tormiline ja segane. Eesti vabaduse taastamisel mängis oma rolli ka praost Harald Meri, jumalasulane, keda nii mõnigi iseloomustaks kui meest, kes oli enda turvalisuse huvides liialt mässumeelne.
