<p>A conversation recorded at the end of an almost two week workshop where Bombina Bombast invited drag Artists Beatrice Thomas from San Fransisco and Malmö’s finest Helena Engberg Thunström from the performance group Potato Potato to explore their drag queens and kings and in betweens in virtual reality through a live motion capture setup as well as 3D scanning and building avatars. In the room at the time were, apart from Beatrice aka Black Benatar and Helena akak Leffe also developer Jolene Engo, a long time collaborator of Beatrice’s and Shaya Khalil who was hired to support with tech but who also happens to have her own drag king practice.
