京劇、崑曲，作為最能代表中國戲曲體系的兩大劇種，其內涵博大精深。文詞、音樂、身段、唱腔……無一不是中國傳統美學的體現。 鄧宛霞，一位香港舉足輕重的京崑表演藝術家，將會在節目內，把她對古典藝術的獨特見解，化成精彩生動的內容，為大家深入淺出地講解中國傳統美學的精要。 本系列節目涵蓋面廣，由鄧宛霞老師自身學藝經歷出發，漫步美學世界，進而引申到中西文化交流、京崑校園普及、藝術傳承等。此外，片集還包含對其他範疇藝術家的專訪，乃至內地京崑藝術大家字字珠璣的表演心得與豐富人生的分享。

第四集 《形與神》 中國藝術講究「形神兼備」，「形」與「神」的關係到底若何？ 早於西周時期，古人在日常生活中已對形體有極高的要求，這更深深影響了往後的戲曲發展。 這一集將從歷史出發去探討這個有趣的課題。 《向京崑藝術家致敬—李玉聲》 在舞台上能達致「形神兼備」者，當數京劇武生、紅生大家李玉聲先生。鄧宛霞遠赴杭州拜訪 前輩，且聽李老師字字珠璣的表演心得，一睹他規範矯健的身手，與那恢宏磅礴的關公氣勢。

第三集 《同樂》 當京崑藝術去到新西蘭，傳統的唱、唸、做、打，能否衝破地域、語言、年齡的界限，打動西方觀眾的心？京崑來到香港校園，同學們又是如何地歡欣雀躍？ 《以心傳心》 傳統文化在校園裏埋下了種子，然要繼續往前走，就要談到藝術傳承了。 戲曲和其他傳統藝術一樣，自有一套非常完整、完善的教學方法。鄧宛霞老師將透過一段極具時尚感的短片，輔以當年中國戲校和上海戲校的上課片段，以至香港學生的心聲，道出戲曲「以心傳心」的教學之道。

第二集 《無節不作》 京崑世界中，場景氣氛、角色心態，都可由鑼鼓烘染出來。為什麼戲曲藝術離不開打擊樂？節奏對我們舞台上的行為有多重要？演員和樂隊是如何配合的？行為「節奏化」的淵源又有多久遠？節目內大家都會得到解答。 《樂‧言‧韻》 本集亦會走訪幾位不同範疇的藝術家:王致仁(鋼琴家)、何冀平(劇作家)與盛培琪(舞蹈家)，了解他們眼中的京崑藝術，以及京崑對他們的藝術創作帶來怎樣的影響和啟發。
