本集將會分享這本書 ------------ 書名： 漁的大歷史: 大海如何滋養人類的文明 Fishing: How the Sea Fed Civilization 作者: 布萊恩‧費根 Brian Fagan 1936年生於英國。世界知名考古學作家，加州大學聖塔芭芭拉分校人類學系榮譽退休教授。曾於1959至1965年於尚比亞的李文斯頓博物館（Livingstone Museum）擔任史前文化研究員，在此期間潛心投入田野調查，專注於非洲史的跨領域研究及遺址保存。1967年開始任教於加州大學聖塔芭芭拉分校，直至2004年退休。現與妻女居於加州。 費根致力透過演講和寫作，向一般大眾推廣考古學知識，編有《牛津考古學指南》（The Oxford Companion to Archaeology），是進入考古學的最佳讀物。費根的著作等身，更有多部著作已在台灣出版，包含《聖嬰與文明興衰》、《法老王朝》、《古文明七十發明》等，其中《漫長的夏天》和《歷史上的大暖化》結合了考古學知識與費根對氣候變遷的關注，更是暢銷經典。 長期以來，費根探索氣候對於人類文明與歷史進程的影響，另著有《小冰河時代》（The Little Ice Age）、《星期五的魚》（Fish on Friday）、《長生不老的關鍵：人類與水的歷史》（Elixir: A History of Water and Humankind）等。此外，他從八歲開始練習駕船，至今已是專業好手，其著作《中南加州巡航指南》（Cruising Guide to Central and Southern California）自1979年出版以來不斷再版，是被廣泛參考的航海指南。 摘錄金句: 沒有捕魚社群滿載的籃子和獨木舟，許多古代文明可能從來不會出現在歷史上。 ------------ 歡迎來信: imayremember25 at gmail.com 歡迎追蹤IG:i_may_remember -- Hosting provided by <a href="https://www.soundon.fm/">SoundOn</a>
