In the recent years Ajahn Dtun has frequently traveled to the West giving teachings. His monastery is situated to the east of Bangkok in the district of Chonburi. Usually there are 60-70 monks each year for the rains retreat. Wat Boonyawad is the 130th Branch Monastery of Wat Nong Pah Pong in Thailand.
