We first discovered Dirty Bird Run Club (DBRC) on a week-long trip to New York last February, and became honorary Birds until we officially moved. We love the club for many reasons and were really excited to get to talk with the guy who started it all, Jack Gilbert a.k.a. Slutty Starling. Dirty Bird continues to pioneer the NY run club scene and Jack gives a lot of good insight into his philosophy around being successful as a group and the challenges of evolving.

If you live in NYC and want to join Dirty Bird for a run, they meet Wednesdays at 6:30am at Little Island! All other runs and information is posted on their Instagram @dirtybirdrc.

As everyone knows, March is International Women’s month, and we wanted to take this opportunity to have some really incredible women on r.a.d. We’re kicking it off strong with Erin Bailey!! Between starting an agency, Momentum Management, to being an incredibly badass athlete herself, Erin has a ton of wisdom to share. We are constantly inspired by her strive to support and empower runners at the intersection of impact and influence and hope this episode can encourage you to take a leap of faith.

If the statement “MILE 1” means anything to you, then you’ve definitely heard of today’s guest or seen him running shirtless at basically any major race. Matt Choi is a content creator, entrepreneur, and fitness and running enthusiast who is known online for running marathons and other epic endurance challenges, including running across South Korea (which we get into). We also talk about how Matt got started posting on Social Media and the pressure of continued creativity, his favorite distance to run, and get into if he could go without saying the word "mile" ever again in the rapid fire. Hope you enjoy!!
