<p>江の川流域のお魚シリーズ第四弾。</p><p>今回は、「アユカケゴッポ」というお魚のお話なのですが、「ゴッポ」というのは方言で、川の底の方に暮らす魚たちの総称をいうそうです。なので、一般的には「アユカケ」と呼ばれています。</p><p>このお魚は「石化け」という技をもっており、その名の通りまるで川底に転がる石のように、じっと動かずエモノを待つそうです。この石化けをしている間は素手でも捕まえられるくらい本気で石になりきっているそうですよ。</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>「イモ代官」という愛称はご存知でしょうか？</p><p>島根県では有名だそうで、江戸時代に大森代官(石見銀山のあたり)としてやってきた井戸平左衛門正明(いどへいざえもんまさあき)さんのことです。</p><p>今回は、この井戸さんがどうして「イモ代官」と呼ばれるようになったのか、そしてその功績をたたえた石碑は江の川流域ではどこまで広がっているのか、垣間見ていきます。</p><p>もしかしたら、いつも何の気なしに視界に入っていた石碑は井戸公碑かもしれません。</p>
