<p>Itämeren rannalla, Porkkalanniemen kupeessa, sijaitsee pieni Peurasaari. Tämä tuulen pieksemä saari on koti monille eläimille: peurojen perheelle, joutsenpariskunnalle, meriharakalle, ilvekselle ja jopa ystävälliselle kyylle.</p> <p>Vuodenkierron aikana saaren asukkaat kohtaavat talven pakkaset, kevään uudet alut, kesän kiireet ja syksyn rauhan. Jokaisessa vuodenajassa piilee oma haasteensa, mutta ystävyyden ja yhteistyön avulla eläimet selviävät kaikesta. Talvella saaren asukkaat yhdistävät voimansa pelastaakseen loukkaantuneen joutsenen. Keväällä ihmiset saapuvat mökkeilemään Porkkalanniemeen, ja eläimet joutuvat piiloutumaan vieraiden katseilta. Kesä Peurasaarella on täynnä elämää. Syksyllä ihmiset lähtevät, ja saari hiljenee talvea varten. Tarina huipentuu sydämelliseen joulujuhlaan suuren kuusen alla, jossa saaren asukkaat kiittävät toisiaan ja juhlistavat yhteisön voimaa.</p> <p><br /></p>
