17. oktobrī Eiropas Centrālās bankas (ECB) Padome jau otrajā monetārās politikas sēdē pēc kārtas nolēma pazemināt eiro procentu likmes. Inflācija eirozonā nokritusi zem mērķa līmeņa (kas ir 2 % vidējā termiņā), tomēr ECB prezidente Kristīne Lagarda nesteidzas pasludināt uzvaru pār inflāciju un saglabā piesardzību.
