by C.L. Whiteside, Time of Grace Ministry
How fast do you have to have "IT"? Our culture tells us to find a microwave to speed up the process. C.L. Whiteside, a man who sees and hears multiple perspectives through his life of coaching sports, serving in education, and attempting to conform to Christ, searches for the nonmicrowaved truth. C.L. gets that what’s cool and acceptable now, may not be cool and acceptable tomorrow—and most importantly, may not be what’s best.

It is a major struggle to balance personal beliefs with societal expectations, particularly regarding “love is love.” This episode challenges the notion of accepting behaviors that contradict biblical teachings, emphasizing the importance of standing firm in one's faith and adhering to the commandments of God. Followers of Christ have to question the modern interpretation of love. Through Scripture and personal reflection, let’s prioritize spiritual fulfillment over worldly acceptance—and commit to God even in the face of societal pressure.

Isaiah 5:20
Leviticus 19:18
Galatians 5:14
Mark 12:31
Matthew 22:37-39
John 13:34
John 8:31,32
Jeremiah 17:9
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
1 John 4:16
Mark 10:45
1 Corinthians 5
John 14:15-17
Matthew 16:24,25

You can now also WATCH C.L.!
On a scale of 1 to 100, 100 being the best, how would you rate yourself in goodness? The phrase "He/she is such a good person" is pretty common, and there is usually a common understanding when it is said about someone. But what makes someone "good" in God's eyes? Sometimes we blame the devil for tempting us into not being good when we should be looking at some commonalities we share with every single person on earth. Looking at those commonalities can give us a new appreciation for God's great grace.

Psalm 51:5
Ephesians 2:8,9
Romans 8:7,8
1 Corinthians 2:14
Ephesians 2:1
Luke 18:9-14
Romans 10:17
John 3:16
1 Corinthians 1:30
2 Corinthians 5:17
Matthew 18:2
Romans 5:1,2

You can now also WATCH C.L.!
God's Old Testament people, the Israelites, chose to create an idol in the form of a golden calf and worship it. This may sound stupid to us, but at times we are just like the Israelites. History repeats itself all too often. Our culture has made an idol out of having fun and getting lit; the Israelites could relate. Is getting lit the new golden calf? What golden calves are you creating in your life? This episode discusses why we create idols and the consequences of them.

Exodus 32
Romans 12:2

You can now also WATCH C.L.!
