<p>Two key organizers of the <a href="https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/canada-should-be-proud-of-the-truckers-convoy/">Freedom Convoy</a>, which succeeded in ending the ongoing Covid lockdowns and mandates in 2022, have been found <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/tamara-lich-chris-barber-freedom-convoy-trial-decision-1.7500015">guilty </a>of mischief for their role in the protests.</p><p>Ontario Court Justice Heather Perkins-McVey said the evidence shows that Chris Barber and Tamara Lich “encouraged people to join or remain at the protest, despite knowing the adverse effect it was having on downtown residents and businesses.”</p><p>In this episode, <a href="www.meghan murphy.ca">Meghan Murphy</a> speaks with Gord Magill, a trucker who has been following and covering the persecution of Convoy participants via his work at <a href="">Autonomous Truck(er)s</a> and his podcast, <a href="https://open.spotify.com/show/01IBVRZ1pokC94ZXvguJfR?si=58d6edd366a14c98">Voice of Go(r)d</a>. </p><p>The video version of this interview has been made available in full and for early access to paid subscribers and patrons only. <p>In May 2021, the CBC <a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/tk-eml%C3%BAps-te-secw%C3%A9pemc-215-children-former-kamloops-indian-residential-school-1.6043778" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">reported</a> that the remains of<a href="https://thespectator.com/topic/lack-indigenous-mass-graves-canada/" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer"> 215 children</a> had been discovered at the former site of the Kamloops Indian Residential School in British Columbia. More such ‘<a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/cowessess-marieval-indian-residential-school-news-1.6078375" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">discoveries</a>’ at other former residential schools followed.</p><p>While it is true that terrible things happened at residential schools, the headlines about these supposed “mass graves” <a href="https://www.spiked-online.com/2025/03/07/will-the-myth-of-canadas-mass-graves-ever-die/" target="_blank" rel="ugc noopener noreferrer">were not</a>. No remains had been discovered.
