<p>Onze ultieme terugblik op het EK Running met Jana Van Lent, Karen Van Proeyen en Thomas Huyberechts. Jana Van Lent blikt terug op haar knappe vijfde plaats in de 10km vrouwen. Karen Van Proeyen kende een offday in de marathon, maar zette dapper door om toch nog te finishen in 3u50. Organisator Thomas Huyberechts realiseerde met het unieke, eerste EK Running een organisatorisch huzarenstukje. Maar hij is vooral op fier op wat het EK allemaal in beweging zette. Host Milan Augustijns was als deelnemer in de halve marathon een bevoorrechte getuige van de zotte sfeer op heel het parcours. </p>

<p>In onze derde special over het EK Running blikken we met Thomas De Bock (marathon), Vincent Bierinckx (halve marathon) en Eline Dalemans (10km) vooruit op vooral het sportieve aspect van het kampioenschap. Onze drie gasten bespreken hun eigen ambities, analyseren het parcours, wikken en wegen de Belgische teams, analyseren de racetactiek en nog veel meer.</p>

<p>Michael Somers is één van de Belgische boegbeelden op het EK Running op 12 en 13 april. Het kampioenschap voelt voor de naar Leuven uitgeweken Antwerpenaar als een echte thuismatch. Hij gaat voor goud. Mieke Boeckx is als bedenkster van het Start to Run-programma er verantwoordelijk voor dat héél veel mensen zijn beginnen joggen. Vanuit haar ervaring en expertise deelt de jogbegeleidster waardevolle voor de vele recreanten die samen met de toppers aan de start zullen staan. Tuur Bras is als coördinator promotie van het EK Running een goed op het unieke loopevent dat records zal breken qua deelnemersaantallen. Hij geeft ook duiding bij het reglement van de clubcompetitie. </p>
