Two Veterans on AP World History is a podcast designed to help teachers. It has a goal to consistently present multiple perspectives of pedagogy for APWH. Over the course of the podcast, interviews will be conducted with APWH teacher gurus from different types of schools (urban, private, public, innercity, etc.), past students, APWH exam readers, college professors and more. Episodes will focus in on timeframes, different types of essays (DBQ and LEQ), historical thinking skills, etc. Please note that any resources that are discussed or information that has value will be posted with all relevant links on the show notes page.

They explore Crane Brinton’s anatomy of a revolution, details of the Haitian Revolution and Voodoo, the Urban Game, The Scramble for Africa game, and the Tanzimat vs. Meiji Reforms via a debate analyzing changes in the Ottoman and Japanese Empires. Other points of discussion also include: All Star DBQs, SAQs, LEQs that “punch above their weight” for the timeframe, Freshmen class activities, favorite historical trips for the timeframe, teacher tips, and recommended resources.</p>
