Riley tells us about her quest to run 50 marathons in each of the 50 states and the challenges of running multiple, some times back to back, marathons in a year. Despite this ongoing journey she returns to run the Disney Marathon weekend each year to see old friends and enjoy the incredibly magical event. This episode was great and gave me a bit of encouragement for the marathons I plan to run this year and into the future.

Favorite Running Accessory - Flip Belt

https://amzn.to/3EzG3Nu

Check out Riley on Instagram:

https://www.instagram.com/rmfickfack/

Chapters:

00:00 Opening

00:22 Introduction

01:53 50 State Marathon Challenge

05:15 Training for Multiple Marathons a Year

10:12 Listen to your body

12:35 Lessons Learned

15:58 Discipline, finding your why

19:08 Favorite Races

24:56 Disney Marathon

31:23 Community

33:26 Small vs. Large Races

35:35 Disney Marathon Continued

39:24 Running Accolades

43:23 What's Next

47:50 Stories and Sendoffs
