In this episode of "Abort the Stigma," the podcast confronts the absence of transmasculine individuals in abortion conversations, highlighting how legal, social, and medical narratives predominantly revolve around cisgender women. Transmasculine people face numerous barriers when seeking abortion services, including misgendering and a lack of understanding of their diverse experiences and bodies among healthcare providers. The episode emphasises the urgency of broadening the abortion discourse to be more inclusive of diverse gender identities, advocating for equal access to abortion services for all individuals, regardless of gender.

About Abort the Stigma Podcast series:

Abortion is frequently seen in a negative light.
In this episode of the "Abort the Stigma" podcast series, we delve into the inclusion of cis-men in discussions surrounding abortion. Traditionally, conversations about abortion have been perceived as primarily concerning women, queer individuals, and transmasc individuals. However, this episode highlights the importance of men's involvement in supporting pregnant people with pre-marital abortion and the need to involve male engagement in issues related to abortion and SRHR. Or rather to simply put how abortion is a men's issue too!

About Abort the Stigma Podcast series:

Abortion is frequently seen in a negative light.
