Series 5, episode 1 of 'MGA Clinical Influencers' sees Prof. Patrick Murray in conversation with Professor Bill Powderly. Bill is former Dean of UCD Medicine and current Dr. J. William Campbell Professor of Medicine and the Larry J Shapiro Director of the Institute for Public Health at Washington University. Prof Powderly has been actively involved in HIV-related clinical research for over 35 years. He has been a member of numerous advisory groups on HIV and infectious diseases for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Canadian Institute for Health Research, and the European Medicines Agency. More recently, he oversaw Washington University’s clinical and translational research response to SARS CoV-2 and was lead PI for the NIH's ACTIV trials of immunomodulators in the treatment of severe COVID.

Series 4, episode 9 of 'MGA Clinical Influencers' sees Prof. Patrick Murray in conversation with Dr Christine Quinlan who is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. After completing her intern in St Vincent's, where she developed an interest in plastics and orthopaedic surgery, Dr Quinlan solidified her commitment to Plastics in Cork during her Basic Specialist training. Dr Quinlan completed 5 years specialist Plastics training in Dublin before heading to London where she continued to work, study and hone her skills. Since January 2023, she has been back in Dublin and working at the Mater.
