<p>Series 3 focusses on service user experience.</p> <p>Clare was born with a cleft of her soft palate, and then went on to have a daughter, Millie also born with a soft palate cleft. She talks about her own experiences and feelings around cleft palate as well as being a parent and going through that process again. Millie also briefly joins us too! A great episode to understand the thought process and concerns of receiving a diagnosis at birth, and the complex MDT system families then enter into.</p>

<p>Series 2 focusses on practice education in SLT.</p> <p>Ella is a deputy headteacher, and lead of inclusion having set up a new school in Norwich. She works with Department for Education on projects and is currently completing her Masters. What stands out is Ella's infectious fun personality balanced with huge passion and drive to support children with SLCN. We talk about her role and perspective as well as best ways to work in the education MDT. A must listen for anyone going on paediatric placements within schools, or looking toward a career in that area.</p>
