東京を拠点にジャマイカ、ニューヨーク、ロンドン、 世界のレゲエとカルチャーを発信し続ける24x7 RECORDS代表・八幡浩司が、 様々なシーンのキーパーソンにせまる それぞれの「はじまりのストーリー」、IN THE BEGINNING。 『石井志津男編 ⑥ 羞恥心とプライドのせめぎあい』（シリーズ最終話） 1stシリーズは、1980年代から、 レーベル、アーティストマネジメント、イベント企画、 映画、そしてカルチャー誌「Riddim」を通して、 ジャマイカ音楽とストリートカルチャーを伝えつづける、 ＜OVERHEAT MUSIC・石井 "EC" 志津男＞の「はじまり」を探る。 🎙️ゲスト: 石井 ”EC” 志津男（OVERHEAT MUSIC） 1980年にジャマイカを舞台にした映画Rockersを配給。1983年にインディーズOVERHEATレコードを設立し、ペインティング・アーティストGary PanterのLPをリリース。のちに、Augustus Pablo、“Gladdy” Anderson、Bunny Wailer、Frankie Paul、Sanchez,などの多数のレゲエを中心に、国内ではアーティスMute Beatなど多数の音源をリリース。さらに、ジャマイカでのレーベル運営、ジャマイカ人アーティスト（スリラーU）のマネージメント、アーティストのコンサートも多数開催。90年代末からは、日本人アーティスト（Moomin、Pushim,H-MANなど）もプロデュースし、マネージメントも行う。また、ストリート・音楽・アートを中心にしたフリー・マガジン「Riddim」を発行。（1983年から37年間発行。現在休刊中。）さらに2006年レゲエの源流を探るドキュメンタリー映画「Ruffn’ Tuff」を監督。これまで著作・監修・企画した主な出版本は、「レゲエ・ディスク・ガイド」(音楽之友社)、「Ruffn’ Tuff」「The Rocksteady Book」「SL1200の肖像」(いずれもリットー・ミュージック)など。 🎙️石井志津男＞ www.instagram.com/shizuo_ishii_ec/ ▶️OVERHEAT MUSIC> overheat.com/ 🎙️八幡浩司＞www.instagram.com/koji24x7yawata/ ▶️24×7 Records> 247reggae.com/
