Welcome back, and thank you all for your patience. Let’s get right down to business, with none other than skateboard LEGEND- Danny Gonzalez. With an unmistakable style, and trick selection. This Texas native hit the scene like no other in the mid-90s. Today, he’s here to share his journey with us at WCRP on Skateboarding. Tune in, as Danny talks his humble beginnings in San Antonio, TX & first sponsors Hot Rod & GoodTimes Skateshop. How filming local videos, and building an organic buzz led to his first major sponsor. Shares early influences, including Rodney Mullen, Ronnie Bertino & Adam McNatt. Truth be told: this interview will shock lots of you. We all thought Danny was one of them new skaters. Whole time, this dude started in 1987.. he’s a student of the game, that passed with straight A’s. Tap into Part 1 of our interview, and thanks again Danny for your time!

📸:Seu Trinh

Tune in, as we cover everything from Beatrice Demond to Gifted Hater & so much more. We talk podcast production, YouTube, Women Skateboard competition & even cover Pro skateboarders catching feelings online. We need more open & honest communication like this. Without further ado..
Back like I never left, featuring none other than rising YouTube star- Skate Xiii/Lord D’Andre. In today’s social media world, it’s rare to see independent Black skateboard reviewers. So, I linked up with one of the newest & brightest in the game. And, this is one hellluva conversation! Tune in, as the young Lord talks growing up in rural Georgia skateboarding. What does “Xiiii” actually mean? We discuss “skateboarding rappers”, seeing KKK paraphernalia as a youth, why he changed his original YouTube handle & so much more. This kid has a bright future, and it was an absolute honor linking up & picking his brain. Without further ado, here’s Part 1 with my nephew- Lord D’Andre. It’s #BlackHistoryMonth, folks. We’re just getting started.. Thank you once again, Lord!
