<p>[From the Archives] This episode was originally aired on July 15th, 2022.</p> <p>Spending time outdoors is real food for the soul, real food for the senses, as it nourishes the young child’s senses. Spending time outside helps your child breathe deeply and be better regulated.</p> <p>Nature reduces overwhelm and eases tension. It will bring your child to a calm peaceful state. One of the great benefits of being out in nature is that it also gives your child time away from screens, and makes it possible for them to intimately reconnect with themselves.</p> <p>Join me in this episode as I talk about the Foundational senses, outdoor activities that strengthen these senses, and how you can create an outdoor play area in your own backyard with toys that you curate that will interest your child and encourage them to spend hours in play outside.</p> <p> Want to come on the show for a free, anonymous coaching session? <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfxX0-8WdNRT_u20lDWacuDAeIpbsyIz0CD6yArY1BpnAGFJA/viewform" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Click here to apply</a></p> <p><a href="https://wenurturecollective-linkinbio.myflodesk.com/c708d5a2-5ed4-407e-8c7f-50a58a80f416" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subscribe to our weekly newsletter, The We Nurture Journal</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Parenting-Nurture-Potential/dp/1399811908/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=g1eVz&content-id=amzn1.sym.255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e%3Aamzn1.symc.a68f4ca3-28dc-4388-a2cf-24672c480d8f&pf_rd_p=255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e&pf_rd_r=PJM49C80KAGP6FC5SM0N&pd_rd_wg=I8wkB&pd_rd_r=3d26de6f-bb2e-4ef5-9938-cbafc6f29536&ref_=pd_hp_d_atf_ci_mcx_mr_ca_hp_atf_d#customerReviews" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Order my new book, The Little Book of Parenting</a></p> <p> </p>

<p><span class="im"> </span></p> <p>Welcome back to Unscripted Parent Coaching Sessions With Chinyelu!</p> <p dir="auto">In this episode, we revisit a mom I coached in the January 21st episode, where she shared how her daughter’s whining and lack of sleep were wearing her down. She begins with an update on what has changed since then before we dive into another challenge she’s facing—her daughter’s struggle with independent play.</p> <p dir="auto"></p> <p>She longs for more breathing room in her day, but instead, every moment feels like a demand for her attention. Whether it’s wanting to be entertained, needing constant engagement, or refusing to play alone, the weight of being in a constant out-breath is leaving her drained.</p> <p>We explore ways to support her daughter so that she can begin to play more independently.</p> <p>Want to come on the show for a free, anonymous coaching session? <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfxX0-8WdNRT_u20lDWacuDAeIpbsyIz0CD6yArY1BpnAGFJA/viewform" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Click here to apply</a></p> <p><a href="https://wenurturecollective-linkinbio.myflodesk.com/c708d5a2-5ed4-407e-8c7f-50a58a80f416" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Subscribe to our weekly newsletter, The We Nurture Journal</a></p> <p>Looking for 1:1 Parenting Support? <a href="https://wenurturecollective.com/one-on-one-growth-session" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Click here to book a session</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Parenting-Nurture-Potential/dp/1399811908/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=g1eVz&content-id=amzn1.sym.255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e%3Aamzn1.symc.a68f4ca3-28dc-4388-a2cf-24672c480d8f&pf_rd_p=255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e&pf_rd_r=PJM49C80KAGP6FC5SM0N&pd_rd_wg=I8wkB&pd_rd_r=3d26de6f-bb2e-4ef5-9938-cbafc6f29536&ref_=pd_hp_d_atf_ci_mcx_mr_ca_hp_atf_d#customerReviews" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Order my new book, The Little Book of Parenting</a></p>

<p><span>Welcome back to Unscripted Parent Coaching Sessions With Chinyelu!</span></p> <p>In this episode, I speak with a mom of two who’s feeling stuck in the potty training process with her 4-year-old. While her son is making progress, there’s one piece that just isn’t clicking—and it’s beginning to wear on her patience. We also talk about co-sleeping plus how to know when her 4-year-old is ready for a full day at school. Together, we explore how to meet his needs during this challenging, yet important time of transition.</p> <p> </p> <p>Want to come on the show for a free, anonymous coaching session? <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfxX0-8WdNRT_u20lDWacuDAeIpbsyIz0CD6yArY1BpnAGFJA/viewform">Click here to apply</a></p> <p><a href="https://wenurturecollective-linkinbio.myflodesk.com/c708d5a2-5ed4-407e-8c7f-50a58a80f416">Subscribe to our weekly newsletter, The We Nurture Journal</a></p> <p>Looking for 1:1 Parenting Support? <a href="https://wenurturecollective.com/one-on-one-growth-session">Click here to book a session</a></p> <p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Little-Book-Parenting-Nurture-Potential/dp/1399811908/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=g1eVz&content-id=amzn1.sym.255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e%3Aamzn1.symc.a68f4ca3-28dc-4388-a2cf-24672c480d8f&pf_rd_p=255b3518-6e7f-495c-8611-30a58648072e&pf_rd_r=PJM49C80KAGP6FC5SM0N&pd_rd_wg=I8wkB&pd_rd_r=3d26de6f-bb2e-4ef5-9938-cbafc6f29536&ref_=pd_hp_d_atf_ci_mcx_mr_ca_hp_atf_d#customerReviews">Order my new book, The Little Book of Parenting</a></p>
