「成為你自己。」"Become who you are." — 尼采 Friedrich Nietzsche在社群媒體盛行的時代，很容易被他人影響價值觀。例如網路意見領袖看起來光鮮亮麗，讓人想模仿他們的一切——從學歷、身份、外表，到喜好，彷彿只要複製他們的選擇，就能獲得相同的幸福。但模仿真的能成為真正的自己嗎？適合他人的，不一定適合自己，別人的蜜糖，可能正是自己的毒藥。林火旺教授談到，許多時候我們並不是在活出自己，而是活成他人期待的模樣；像是父母口中「為你好」的選擇、社會鼓吹的「熱門科系」、賺錢至上的價值觀。我們是否早已在無形中迷失了自我？本集聽哲學系教授林火旺老師為您推理：個性的發展阻礙有哪些，為何需要培養獨立思考的能力，以及現代父母最需要具備的教育觀。當我們活出獨特的自己，才能讓生命真正完滿。

“I have learned to seek my happiness by limiting my desires, rather than in attempting to satisfy them.” 「我學會了透過限制自己的慾望，而不是試圖滿足慾望來尋求幸福。」 ——約翰彌勒 我是誰？我從哪裡來？我要往哪裡去？是哲學三大提問，其實不必讀懂艱深複雜的哲學理論，生活處處是哲學。 我們如何找到自己做自己？火旺教授分享兒子投入戲劇，做自己有天賦且熱愛的事，每天過得踏實快樂，就是做自己。了解自己的個性，根據自己的判斷和偏好進行自發性的選擇，就是一般所謂的「做自己」，而不是隨波逐流或跟隨主流價值。 火旺教授分享英國哲學家約翰彌勒(John Stuart Mill, 1806-1873)，傳奇的一生及令人稱頌的愛情故事，彌勒的自我追尋故事說明了，若沒有隨順自己的性格選擇人生，而是跟隨傳統或他人的規則，則會缺少人類幸福最重要，以及個人和社會進步的主要元素。 我們相信哲學不只是推理思考，更可以透過實踐找到幸福的人生，邀請你做幸福推理小行動:1 最好的方法是經常參與討論和辯論。2 接受挑戰：在公眾場所積極表達自己的想法、主動承擔責任。3 閱讀人文書籍。4 從別人那裡發現自己：參與群體活動。
