Alors qu’elle était en congé de maternité, Mara Tremblay s’est vu proposer de faire un album solo. Elle s’est lancée et a enregistré, dans son bungalow de Saint-Lambert, l’album qui l’a mise au monde comme chanteuse. «C'était vraiment que du plaisir, se souvient-elle. Ça a donné tous les démos du Chihuahua.»

Alaclair Ensemble, c'est une histoire de «gang», de famille. Au début des années 2010, tout ce beau monde gravitait autour du «1036», un appartement doté d’un studio accessible le soir et la nuit. S’en est suivi un album qui a beaucoup contribué à mettre le rap sur la carte au Québec: «4,99».
