周日（4月20日）复活节前夕，俄罗斯总统普京突然宣布俄军自周六起实施30个小时临时停火，以示对这一宗教节日的尊重和“出于人道主义考虑”，并呼吁乌克兰方面效仿。但这一停火迅速得到基辅的质疑和批评，乌克兰总统泽连斯基说，普京宣布停火以来，俄军并未停止攻击，称莫斯科“试图营造停火假象”。
