受訪者:胡其湘/農業部前專門委員、前新竹市政府產發處處長 「多吃魚和多說客家話，可以降低失智風險」這句話出自客家暖男兼漁產行銷高手胡其湘專門委員的口中，相當有公信力!! 2024年8月，服務公職38年的胡其湘專門委員從農業部退休，他是新竹縣寶山鄉的客家人，家裡講著現在很少聽見的永定腔客家話，胡專委的四縣腔、海陸腔客家話也都非常流利，十分難得，和他聊天非常愉快親切。 胡其湘專委，國立台灣海洋大學漁業研究所碩士畢業，1986年開始先後在省漁業局、農委會(輔導處農產運銷科、漁業處)、漁業署、新竹市政府產業發展處、農委會/農業部等單位擔任公職人員，對台灣漁業運輸與行銷推廣，和國際經貿會議協商等都有相當重要的影響，在2024年8月1日自農業部專門委員退休，公務生涯長達38年，期間勇於任事，記功嘉獎，獲獎無數，可以說是台灣漁業的行銷高手。雖然是山裡的孩子，但接觸海洋後，打開自己的國際視野，心胸開闊，對親情也加分許多，期盼大家多認識海洋，也愛護海洋。 胡其湘專門委員樂觀開朗，喜愛運動，充滿正能量，退休後積極投入客家文化的推廣，用歌唱傳達文化之美，期許退休生活做一個樂活男、家政夫、慈祥長者以及好市民，樂於分享，回饋社會，去年榮獲模範父親的殊榮，堪稱客家暖男，給人溫暖的感覺。
