Homeschooling is really the intersection of living, learning, and loving–and this often includes experiencing loss and grief. In part 2 of their discussion on homeschooling and homesteading, Zan and Brandee Gillham share the impact of grief on their lives, as well as the significance of grieving together as a family. Brandee shares her journey of grief through the unexpected loss of her father-in-law, followed six months later by the loss of their two-year-old son, Benjamin. Throughout this candid conversation, the empowering nature of homeschooling emerges as a recurring theme, with both Zan and Brandee realizing that loss and grief teach our children to become much more empathetic human beings. This often develops a heart to serve in our children and gives them the ability to encourage and uplift those in need within our communities.
SHOW NOTES
https://zantyler.com/podcast/098-brandee-gillham
LISTEN AND SUBSCRIBE
Join Zan Tyler and a special guest each week for real encouragement, engaging stories, and practical wisdom for surviving and thriving on the homeschool journey.

YouTube: https://bit.ly/3ZjfXnW Apple Podcasts: https://apple.co/3QmTyC3 Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3vLipG2
SUBMIT YOUR QUESTION FOR ZAN
https://speakpipe.com/Zan_Tyler_Podcast
CONNECT WITH ZAN & FOLLOW HER ON SOCIAL
Website: https://zantyler.com/podcast Instagram: https://instagram.com/zan_tyler_podcast Facebook: https://facebook.com/ZanTylerHomeschool TikTok: https://tiktok.com/@thezantylerpodcast
SPONSORED BY BJU PRESS HOMESCHOOL
https://bjupresshomeschool.com
