Now that Annabel’s son is six weeks old, both D&A have officially entered the world of two under two—a whirlwind of love, chaos, and constant adjustments. In this episode, they dive deep into the transition from one to two kids, sharing their personal experiences, the emotional and logistical challenges, and the unexpected joys that come with this new chapter. They break down the "mom math" of managing two kids, how their toddlers have adjusted to sibling life, and the shifts they've noticed in themselves as mothers. From evolving routines to practical tips and survival strategies, they cover everything they've learned along the way—offering insight, reassurance, and a few laughs for any parent navigating the same journey.

Instagram: @wearemorethanmoms

Patreon: More Than Moms Guides & Resources

Join our IRL LA community

Subscribe to our Newsletter

Produced by Peoples Media

Hosted on Acast.
**Trigger warning: contains mention of suicide**

On this deeply moving episode, we’re joined by Melissa Lavasani—a mom of two who turned to psychedelics to heal from postpartum depression when nothing else worked. Melissa opens up about her debilitating struggle with PPD during her second pregnancy and postpartum journey. At the recommendation of a friend, she turned to psychedelics as a last-ditch effort—choosing to isolate herself in the process due to the stigma and illegality of it at the time.

What followed was a transformation she never could’ve imagined: becoming an advocate for making psychedelics more accessible, especially when it comes to women’s mental health. Whether you’re personally navigating postpartum depression or not, normalizing these conversations and sharing alternative approaches to healing is powerful and necessary. You are not alone.

To be apart of the RECONNECT STUDY, visit:

reunion-ppdstudy.com/wearemore to learn more.

Instagram: @wearemorethanmoms

Patreon: More Than Moms Guides & Resources

Join our IRL LA community

Subscribe to our Newsletter

Produced by Peoples Media

Hosted on Acast.

Carrie Nachmani, a highly requested guest, mother to Arielle Charnas, Michaela Podolsky, and Danielle Goldberg, shares the journey of motherhood from a very different perspective than our usual guests - looking back on her journey as a grandma. Carrie shares openly about her challenging childhood and how that affected how she stepped into her role of a mother at a young age. We discuss how she raised such a close-knit family, how she fostered qualities of independence, confidence and kindness to her three daughters, and the boundaries she put in place.

We talk about how she handled her kids coming home with a bad grade, bullying at school or fights between her kids. She also shows us that identity shifts come at all different times during our motherhood journeys, and for her, becoming a ‘grandfluencer’, writing cookbooks, all happened after her last daughter was married. Carrie’s positive attitude to life is incredibly inspiring - early or far along on your motherhood journey, this episode will leave you laughing, smiling and incredibly moved.

Sollis Health is now introducing their Sollis Family membership, the only medical membership that’s on demand for your family 24/7, 365.
