<p>先日『霧の彫刻家』中谷芙二子さんとお会いしました。最近ですと、銀座エルメスで行われた『「グリーンランド」</p><p>中谷芙二子＋宇吉郎展』を記憶されている方もいらっしゃるかもしれません。中谷さんのお父様は加賀市出身の中谷宇吉郎さんという物理学者で、世界で初めて人工雪を作ることに成功した人物。その功績を称えて加賀市には『中谷宇吉郎 雪の科学館』というものが建てられています。</p><p>※『中谷宇吉郎 雪の科学館』は能登半島地震による施設被害復旧工事のため2026年3月31日まで休業中です。</p>

<p>石川県加賀市へは東京から直通で約3時間半で行けるようになり、大変便利になりました。加賀市では毎年『今年の日本語 あいうえお大賞』が行われていますが、その理由は加賀市の山代温泉で日本で最初に五十音図が作られたからなのです。更にここ加賀では北陸で一番最初に稲作が行われたともいわれています。<br></p>

<p>高槻の山の方にある樫田という地区には『心根』というお料理屋さんがございます。昨今、とかく海の幸ばかりがグルメの話題にのぼりがちですが、この心根さんは山の幸の本当の美味しさを追求し、高槻の山奥にわざわざお店を構えていらっしゃいます。この心根さんがある樫田という地区は古くからある家屋が幾つか残っており、その建築様式、特に屋根のデザインは特筆すべきものです。</p>
